Philodendron melinonii 'Ghost' - a botanical species native to South America and Brazil. A large-sized plant with a strong root system, notable for its impressive foliage with thick petioles that turn reddish when the plant is grown in strong light. Leaves may show variations in shape and color that appear spontaneously on some specimens. Currently, several cultivars have been selected, such as: Philodendron melinonii ghost/moonlight, Philodendron melinonii variegated, Philodendron melinonii mottled.
This cultivar features new leaves of lime color. The shade of the leaves varies depending on growing conditions.
Care instructions for philodendron:
Placement: Philodendron prefers a bright area, sheltered from direct sunlight. However, it will also tolerate a shadier spot. The foliage will become greener if placed in a more shaded area.
Watering: The soil should be neither too wet nor too dry. Water regularly, allowing the soil to partially dry between waterings. Ensure the pot has good drainage.
Soil: Philodendron prefers nutrient-rich soil that retains moisture well.
